About Us

Welcome to the website of the Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (MN ACRP), a Minnesota non-profit organization.  We are one of over forty local US chapters of the the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).  

We are a diverse organization of clinical research professionals from corporations (pharmaceutical and medical device), universities, hospitals and clinics.  We have members who serve in many different job descriptions including Research Nurses, Study Coordinators, Clinical Trial Investigators, Site Managers, IRB members, Clinical Research Associates, Project/Department Managers, Medical Writers, Regulatory Specialists, Data Managers, and Executive Recruiters.

Our mission is to assist the global ACRP by providing local leadership for the clinical research profession by promoting and advancing the highest ethical standards and practices (see ACRP Code of Ethics).  We are committed to the following goals:

• To provide a readily accessible mechanism for regional program development for clinical research professionals to foster professional interaction, continuing education, problem solving, and discussion of professional issues.
• To increase the opportunities for member participation in ACRP activities.
• To deliver improved access to ACRP resources, including certification.
• To provide a locally effective membership recruitment mechanism.
• To provide a a network to gain member feedback on issues of concern to ACRP committees and the ACRP Board of Trustees.

We strive for quality in our professional educational programs.  Therefore, most offer CEUs which are needed to maintain professional certification.  Members receive discounted registration for all chapter-sponsored programs as well as the opportunity for networking.  We strive to play a leadership role for others wishing to start a Local ACRP Chapter.
