Park Nicollet Health Services is currently seeking a part-time (64 hr/pay period, 0.8 FTE) Oncology Research Clinician.  This position will float to multiple sites within the consortium based on research activity.  The Oncology Research Clinician provides nursing and data management support to physicians for the identification, enrollment and management of patients on national research studies for the Metro Minnesota Community Clinical Oncology Program (MMCCOP).

Requirements:

Baccalaureate, diploma or associate degree in nursing, plus four or more years clinical experience in related field of specialty.  The 4+ years of experience could be a combination of 2+ years of experience in therapeutic area and 2+ years of clinical research experience.  Highly organized individual with demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills required.  Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects and resources.  Current MN RN and CPR required. CCRC and/or certification in specialty preferred.

Minnesota Clinical Study Center, a division of Associated Skin Care Specialists, has a full-time opening for an experienced clinical research coordinator.  This individual would be responsible for coordinating research participant visits, CRF documentation, and various aspects of clinical trial conduct.

Description:

Applications are being accepted for a full-time research study coordinator for a number of clinical trials in heart failure. This is a time-limited appointment which is annually renewable, contingent on funding availability. The employee will join a team of study nurses working under the direction of Dr. Inder Anand.

Requirements:

The preferred candidate will be an RN with previous experience in research and cardiology/heart failure.

Requirements for the position include but are not limited to:

• Licensure as RN.
• Ability to initiate, coordinate and manage all aspects of the clinical trial process.
• Ability to identify and recruit study participants.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with the MVAMC Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the sponsors of each research trial.
• Knowledge of Federal and VA regulations regarding the conduct of clinical research including privacy regulations. Knowledge of VA policies and procedures is preferred.
• Ability to perform hands-on patient assessments per study-specific protocols.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with study participants, sponsor representatives and professional, technical and support staff from a variety of disciplines.
• Analytical skills and the ability to evaluate the quality of data collected and progress toward overall program objectives.
• Computer proficiency; familiarity with CPRS is preferred.
